Where is the Hotel located?
The Hotel is located 1 km from the city centre. It is about a 10-15 minute walk.
Villa Enrica is located on the slopes of a lush hill overlooking the bay of Marina Lunga in Lipari, 1 km from the centre that is a 15-minute walk.
Do all of the rooms have a sea view?
Not all rooms have a sea view. On the on-line booking pages and on our official website, the types overlooking the sea have the caption "side sea view or sea view".
Check – in & check-out:
Check-in and check-out times have been fixed to allow our staff enough time to carry out a thorough sanitization of the rooms.
Therefore, arrival is possible from 15.00 and departure by 10.30.
This notice is provided so that you can plan your entire trip beforehand without incurring long waiting times. In case you arrive before 15.00 or your departure is after 10.30 you can leave your luggage at the hotel, free of charge.
Our desire is to make your holiday as pleasant as possible.
Can we connect to Wi-Fi?
Yes, you just have to enter the password provided by the hotel.
Cleaning and room sanitising
Upon departure, the room will be fully aired and the surfaces will be sterilised and sanitised with alcohol-based products. Cleaning staff is equipped with PPE regulated by the WHO.
Daily room cleaning
Daily cleaning is carried out from 08.00 to 15.00. Priority will be given to the rooms upon arrival and then to all rooms at the stop. Being on an island where water is an even more precious asset given the delicate ecosystem, we invite you to ask for a change only if necessary, leaving the towels you wish to be replaced on the floor. It is also possible to request to waive the daily cleaning service, to avoid wasting detergents that are harmful to the environment. Our cleaning staff will take care by replacing the bathroom products and linen that will be delivered to you at the appointed time.
Does the hotel have a pool?
Yes, we are the only hotel on the Island with an infinity pool offering a panoramic view of the bay of Marina Lunga and the castle of Lipari. In Summer it has sun exposure until about 18.00. Umbrellas and sun loungers are provided. One of the two pools is shallow and has 7 hydromassage stations.
The pool service is active from 10.00 to 22.00
We wish to remind our guests that the pool is next to some rooms with seaview, therefore, during early afternoon and at night silence should be respected to ensure the guests rest.
Is the pool water heated?
The pool does not have artificial heating but is naturally heated by the sun.
When does the pool open?
Swimming pool opening coincides with that of the hotel and remain open until the hotel closure.
Is there a lifeguard in the pool?
No. The pool has a maximum depth of mt 1.30, therefore you can enjoy your swim with no worries.
Do you provide pool and / or beach towels?
We provide pool towels free of charge, there are no extra charges if you wish to have them changed.
Beach towels are supplied for free for the first use. If you wish to have them replaced, the cost is Euro 2.00 per towel.
Is there entertainment by the pool?
There is no entertainment by the pool and we also ask our kind guests not to play any games that may cause any annoyance.
This is to guarantee all our guests privacy, relaxation and tranquillity during the hours spent by the pool.
Does the hotel have a spa and a gym?
No, but we have agreements, for those who are interested, with facilities outside the hotels, which observe the current safety and sanitation regulations.
If you wish to book any of these services you let us know before the arrival.
Can we park at the hotel?
Hotel Villa Enrica offers an outdoor free parking lot but it is not gated or guarded.
Do you welcome pets?
Hotel Villa Enrica is the only hotel that belongs to the Aeoliancharme Collection that welcomes small pets, upon request at the time of booking (except for the "Pool Front" rooms), with a supplement of € 10.00 per day.
Is there any assistance / maintenance service?
Ordinary maintenance interventions are performed promptly by our staff. In the case of extraordinary repairs that require the assistance of external specialised technicians, it might be possible that, if not available on the island, timing will be different.
Please contact the reception immediately for any kind of assistance.
BREAKFAST & RESTAURANT
Breakfast is served from 07.30 to 10.30 am
You will find an international buffet to welcome you with sweet and savoury products.
The Breakfast hall is set up in complete safety respecting distances and sanitation.
The use of a mask is required to access the room, in respect of our working staff and other guests.
From 12.30 to 22.00 from early June until late September. If you are hungry, we suggest you to try our light menus: the famous "pane cunzato", big salads, cold appetisers, assorted sandwiches, and fresh fruit. You can taste them by the pool or directly under the umbrella!
Before dinner you can enjoy cocktails and drinks served with mixed platters and appetisers. Our guests will be granted a 10% discount by showing the Aeoliancharme Card.
Half Board service is not available here.
We have an agreement with Chimera Restaurant which is located just 500 metres from our hotel and where you can have dinner inside or outside on the terrace.
Opening hours are from 19.30 to 22.30. Our guests will be granted a 10% discount on the a la carte menu just showing the Aeoliancharme Card. Reservation is required.
Half Board service includes a 3 course daily menu (Drinks are not included) with both meat and fish dishes that can be chosen at breakfast time. Reservation is required.
If you wish a free shuttle is available during the catering service that can be booked at our reception.
Restaurant & Pizzeria "Liparo Re"
We also have an agreement with"Liparo Re" which is located in the heart of the historic centre of Lipari.
Operating time is from 19.30 to 02.00 in high season and until 23.30 in other months.
Our guests will be granted a 10% discount just showing the Aeoliancharme Card.
If you wish a free shuttle is available during the catering service to be booked at our reception.
Half Board service is not available here.
Is the kitchen equipped to handle particular food requirements?
Yes, let us know any food requirements or intolerances at the time of booking, all our catering services will be able to offer you alternative menus.

Amarea Beach Club
Amarea Beach Club is located in Canneto, a renowned "Blue Flag" beach.
We recommend you to book your sun lounger and umbrella directly at the reception.
Our guests will be granted a 10% discount (bar 17 service is not included)
Bar "17" with which the Amarea beach has an agreement provides a beach delivery service for snacks and drinks.
Free shuttle service is available if you wish.
Asino Beach Club, Restaurant and Pizzeria
Asino Beach is located on the island of Vulcano, in Gelso, which has been awarded with the "Blue Flag".
You can book your sun lounger and umbrella directly at the reception.
From 12.30 to 15.30 Asino Beach will serve fresh salads, assorted sandwiches, mixed appetisers, fish or vegetables pasta or main dishes and don’t forget our famous pizzas and schiacciate cooked in a wood oven, which all the Aeolian Islands talk about!
Our guests will be granted a 10% discount on both the beach service and the restaurant service.

What are the things to do in the Aeolian Islands?
The Aeolian Islands are a world wonder to discover where you can engage in several activities during your stay. At the time of booking, we will be happy to give you all the information to organise your personalised tour. Or once you arrive, our Concierge service will help you with your exploratory itinerary!
What is there to do at night? Are there clubs or pubs?
Lipari offers a wide range of entertainment during both day and night. It is the largest of the 7 islands that make up the Aeolian Islands and is considered the main hub of the islands with many bars, supermarkets, shops, beach clubs etc.
What is the best way to get around the island?
Renting a scooter is undoubtedly the easiest way to explore the island, easily reach all points of interest and avoid traffic in the high season.
The car is preferable for families with children or for those with little or no experience of driving on two wheels.
Is the beach sandy or pebbled?
All the beaches on the island are pebbled. You can choose between private beach clubs with varied amenities or the free public beach. On the islands of Stromboli and Vulcano there are also black sand beaches.
How can we get to the famous Pumice Quarries?
There are several beaches along the Pomice Quarries coastline. You can easily get there with a shuttle service that will take you from Lipari to Canneto and then by boat from Canneto to the beaches that you wish to visit. There is also a public bus service that leaves from Lipari port to Pumice Quarries.
What do you need to climb Vulcano and Stromboli?
Trekking to the crater of Vulcano is a medium-low difficulty 1 hour climb. In Stromboli you can follow the trail that leads to the “Sciara del Fuoco '' viewing point at 280 mt. To go further the presence of a volcanological guide is compulsory.
Access to the trails of both islands is subject to volcanic activity.
We suggest to wear comfortable clothing, sneakers, high socks are required as there is a lot of sand, wind jackets, spare T-shirts and water (we also recommend a backpack)

Can we book excursions before our arrival at the hotel?
For your tailor-made holiday, you can book packages that include boat trips or experiences on our Hotel Website. However, we recommend booking boat trips during your stay and not in advance due to changing weather conditions.
Advance booking is recommended in August, on summer weekends or public holidays.
Can we rent a scooter or a car before we arrive?
Yes. We can provide quotes for different kinds of vehicles but a deposit is required to make a reservation. Prices may vary depending on the model of the vehicle and the duration of the rental. Booking in advance is recommended in August, during summer weekends or during public holidays.
Is it possible to reserve a boat before we arrive?
Of course, you can book a boat with or without a driver but a deposit will be required. Remember, if the engine is over 40 horsepower, a boat licence is required or you can request a boat driver from the rental company for a surcharge. Prices may vary according to the model of the boat and the duration of the rental. It does not include the cost of fuel consumption which varies according to the miles travelled. Advance booking is recommended in August, on summer weekends or public holidays.

How do I get to the Aeolian Islands?
Go to the “LOCATION" page of the hotel website you have booked for all the details on the means of transport. Advance booking is recommended in August, during summer weekends or public holidays.
Is there a shuttle service from / to the port?
You can book a shuttle service upon arrival / departure at an additional cost of minimum Euro 10,00 per way to a maximum of Euro 30,00 according to the hotel booked. Costs may vary depending on the number of passengers and for night transfers. Contact us for more details.
Is there a tourist tax?
No, the municipality of Lipari is not subject to the tourist tax but to a harbour tax (the cost of which varies according to the season) which is charged on a one-off basis as a supplement on the hydrofoil or ferry ticket upon arrival for free circulation in all the islands of the municipality of Lipari (Lipari, Vulcano, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi and Alicudi).
Where can we leave the car if we take the hydrofoil?
In Milazzo there are several private guarded garages and lots that offer a free shuttle service to and from the port. You can also rent a car with “Sicily Rent Car” in all Sicilian airports that you can DROP Off at the port of Milazzo. You will find a booking link at the bottom of this page.

Is it possible to bring a car to the island?
From the 1st of June to the 30th of September on the islands of Lipari, Vulcano and Filicudi the municipality allows cars and motorbikes belonging to non-residents only if they have booked at least 7 nights. If you wish to take the car with you, please contact us, to receive the pass.
Are the ferry and hydrofoil always available? Even on Sundays and Public holidays?
Yes, ferries and hydrofoils operate regularly except on those rare days when the weather conditions are unfavourable. In Lipari, where the largest and most sheltered port is located, routes are rarely interrupted for the whole day. In this case, if you are upon arrival, contact us immediately to find an alternative accommodation.
For your peace of mind, we strongly recommend applying for the Allianz insurance (that covers this case as well) within 48 hours from your booking confirmation (only for direct reservations). Contact us for more details.
Is it possible to arrange transfers from the airport with you?
Of course! Aeoliancharme Collection is the only group of hotels that prevents any stress from organising a trip. We take care of your holiday from the moment of request. You book your flight and stay and we’ll take care of the rest.

Can I book the ferry ticket with you?
Sure, we work with a local Travel Agency through which we can book hydrofoils, ferries and also airplane tickets.
SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR RESERVATION
Can I cancel a reservation?
If you have booked a "free cancellation" rate you can cancel free of charge within the terms provided. This information is contained in the confirmation email of your booking.
If you have paid a deposit and cancelled within the deadline the amount will be refunded net of bank charges by the beginning of the month following the date of cancellation.
If you have booked a "non-refundable" stay this reservation is neither cancellable nor refundable.
Only those who have booked directly (through our website or our booking office) can change the dates of stay by sending an email within 15 days before arrival. The amount of the stay is transferable but cannot be split.
For your peace of mind, if you wish, you can apply for insurance that will cover the cost of your stay and / or trip within 48 hours of confirmation. You will find the insurance activation link in the booking confirmation email. Remember that this insurance coverage applies only for direct bookings (made from our website or through our reservations office).
This kind of insurance will allow you to receive a refund directly from the insurance company in case you have to suddenly interrupt your stay for family, health, work and / or for reasons of force majeure (see contractual conditions).
How can I cancel or modify a reservation?
If you have booked directly from our site or through our reservations office, just connect to our website and type your reservation number in the "Change / Cancel" section.
You will receive an email confirming the modification or cancellation.
If you have booked through a booking portal (eg Booking.com / Expedia etc.) or travel agency you need to contact their customer service. The booking cannot be changed or cancelled by us.
