The name "Amarea" was inspired by artist Margherita Lipinska’s vision to encapsulate in one word the connection to the sea—the absolute protagonist of our island.
"A mare A" can be interpreted in multiple ways: as placing the sea at the center or linked to surrounding letters to transform into "Amare" (to love), symbolizing passion and hospitality, or "Marea" (the tide), representing the constant movement of waves.
